Physicians
Dr. Chaney graduated from the Los Angeles
College of Chiropractic in Whittier, CA in 1984, and
is one of less than 200 chiropractors nationwide to hold
Diplomate status as a Chiropractic Sports Physician.
She is a STET certified Chiropractic Sports Physician
and attends at least 24 hours of seminars specific to
sports injuries each year.
Before earning her Doctorate in Chiropractic,
she worked as a teacher and a high school basketball,
volleyball and badminton coach. She also holds a Masters
Degree in Physical Education.
Dr. Chaney first started practicing
Chiropractic in the Bay Area, then opened her first practice
in Sacramento in 1987. She has been a consultant to the
National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and has served
as an examining Doctor for the National Boards. She has
also been a Qualified Medical Evaluator for California’s
Workers Compensation for over 12 years.
While maintaining an active practice,
Dr. Chaney also worked as the team chiropractor for the
Sacramento Sirens professional women’s football
team from 2002-2005 (she’s also a published author
on Cervical Spine fracture caused by a football helmet!).
Dr. Chaney is an active member of her community and has worked as a volunteer
for the California AIDS Ride and the NorCal AIDS Challenge.
